Where are your salons?
Two salons in central Shanghai: Jing'an (18 Qingsong Road, 5 min from Jing'an Temple station) and Xuhui (128 Hengyun Road, 7 min from Hengshan Road station). Both are open daily 10:00–22:00.
How do I book?
Book online on this site (choose a service, stylist and free time), message us on WeChat (aurum_hair) or call +86 197 0098 1129.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment. Just message us on WeChat or call. No deposit is needed to book.
What if I am late?
Please let us know. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten the service or move it to another time, so the next guest does not wait.
How can I pay?
WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay, Visa and Mastercard, or cash in CNY. You pay after the service.
Why do prices depend on the stylist?
Hair prices follow the stylist level: stylist, senior stylist, top stylist, master stylist and art director. Care, makeup and brows have one price for everyone.
Can I get a free consultation first?
Yes. Send the form on this site or a photo of your hair on WeChat, and a stylist will suggest a technique, the time it takes and the price.
Which products do you use?
Only professional salon brands for colour and care, with bond-building protection in every lightening service. Ask your stylist if you want to know the exact products.
I have allergies or a sensitive scalp. What should I do?
Please mention it when you book and tell your stylist before the service. We can do a patch test 48 hours before colouring. For medical questions, please check with your doctor.
Is there parking?
Jing'an: underground parking in the building, 2 hours free for clients. Xuhui: street parking on Hengyun Road and a paid car park 150 m away.
Do you cut children’s hair?
Yes, kids up to 12 get their own haircut price. A parent is welcome to stay nearby.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes: gift cards from ¥300 for any service at either salon, valid 12 months, as an e-card on WeChat or a printed card at the salon.
Can you lighten dark Asian hair without damage?
Yes, this is our speciality. We lift dark hair gently in several steps with bond protection, or choose milk-tea and ash browns that need no bleach at all. Your stylist checks the hair first and tells you honestly what is possible in one visit.
How long does a perm last and how do I care for it?
A digital or wool-curl perm lasts 3–6 months, a root volume perm 2–3 months. Wait 48 hours before washing, use a sulfate-free shampoo and scrunch the curls instead of brushing them. Japanese straightening lasts until the hair grows out.
